- Social cognition and social pragmatics (e.g. autism, Asperger's).

My Approach
- Talking with parents to understand their questions and gather information about their child's development.
- Conversations with teachers, specialists, and health providers to understand the child or teen.
- Review of academic records as well as previous assessments and interventions.
- Several hours of standardized testing tailored to the family's questions and child's specific needs.
- Feedback with parents to help understand their child's strengths as well as areas for growth and support.
- Feedback with teachers, specialist teachers, and providers.
- Age-appropriate feedback with the child or teen.
- A final report outlining the diagnosis and specific recommendations.
- Support with establishing a plan to support the child or teen with their educational journey and with their mental well-being, i.e., interventions, accommodations, school placement, or outside support.
- Ongoing consultation and refinement of a child's support plan, as needed.
